This week our loving and generous parents were one of the many families who were impacted by the flood in Cypress, TX. Their home in the subdivision of Longwood took on about a foot of water with little warning which left the entire first floor ruined.  We are so thankful that they remained safe and healthy, but unfortunately they did not have flood insurance and are now faced with a massive financial burden. Our mom, who is a hard working neo natal nurse at St. Joseph's hospital downtown,  had gastrointestinal surgery in December followed by double knee replacement in February. Because of these surgeries she has not been able to work and will not be for awhile. Our dad is a hard working entrepreneur, founder and sole employee of Karma Graphics Printing for the past thirty years, and works out of the very home that is now in shambles. We know that our goal of $5,000 will not even come close to matching the financial burden they face, but every penny helps. If you could find it in your hearts and your budget to help our family in this time of need, we will be forever grateful! On a final note, this is a couple who have spent their lives and their money always putting others before themselves and now is our first real opportunity to return the favor.
