Hi, I am Kinzy Bucey, daughter of Michelle Bucey. My mom is the strongest person I know. It has been a year since we recieved the devastating news of her leukemia. It kills me to see my mom who has always been a go-getter and someone who stops at nothing to reach her goals, facing such a horrific obstacle. She has never asked for assistance through all of this and I had to get her "okay" for creating this GoFundMe. On top of the two back surgeries, a neck surgery, and a five year drug addiction, she now has to face this. I love her so much and I'm tired of seeing her constantly struggle. She has chronic myelogenous leukemia, which is an uncommon type of blood-cell cancer beginning in the bone marrow and has slow progession. Although not cureable, this form of leukemia requires countless medications and the sum comes out to a whopping $10,000... A MONTH. It's hard enough to live with an uncureable cancer, but even harder to know that it's a struggle to pay for medication that ensures she continues living. Anything and everything will come a long way in helping my mother through this rough time. I can't stress enough how thankful I am, along with the rest of our family. We love you!
