Ea (Andrea) Fuqua Heartbeat Fund

Hi everyone! My name is Judy Williams Chandler. My daughter is Andrea better known as Ea  to most people. On Tuesday,  September 20th she suffered a Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection. When this occurred she suffered a heart attack.  Upon arriving at Summit in Hermitage TN via an ambulance they determined she indeed had suffered a heart attack. None of this made sense for a very healthy 33 year old woman with no previous problems to have happened.. The doctor knew there had to be something more causing this. The team at Summit moved very quickly to start their work. The were able to restore blood flow to her heart. The tear had blocked that artery 100%.  We were told that where the tear was at that it was only a temporary fix and would not sustain her life. At that time she was rushed to Centennial in Nashville TN to perform a double bypass. As with any surgery like this you make two steps forward and one step back. At this time she is progressing very well. Our hope today is to be moved out of ICU. Ea has a long, hard recovery ahead of her.

As I have explained to people during this difficult week is that my daughter has always been good. She is one of the nicest and most giving individuals you will ever meet. She has even thanked the nurses for each task they have performed on her. She has always put other people first. She is an angel here on Earth. Ea is happily married to her middle school boyfriend Miles Fuqua. They are parents to four year old Levi and 18 month old Everly. In my eyes I have never seen such a caring, loving mom than she is. She amazes me. She holds everything and everybody together. She has always been my rock.

We have been blessed with such wonderful support from family and friends during this difficult time. There is no way we could have gotten through this without this support and by the grace of God!  We know there are people praying and lifting us up that we will never have the pleasure of meeting. We can not thank you enough. 

We we have had so many offer "can we do anything " and really just knowing that so many people were there for us was enough.  I wanted to start this fund to show our love and support to this beautiful young couple. As we all know during a situation like this that it can be a huge financial blow. Any donation is appreciated and most of all we ask for your continued prayers.
