Hi! My name is Kami. My dad, Ken Soileau, has recently suffered a tragic loss due to a natural disaster that struck Louisiana on Saturday, August 13, 2016. He has lost everything, everything except his life and hope.

A little bit about this man...

Last September, his wife (my mom) passed away. She was bedridden for three years prior and he never left her side. He waited on her hand and foot. He always did whatever she needed or wanted, putting her before himself. While she was in a nursing/rehab facility, he would wake up, drive 45 mins to go sit with her all day, drive home and do it again the next day.

After mom passed he was able to go spend time with his own mother who was not doing so well and he started going to see her everyday. He lost his mother the week before Christmas last year.

He has always put others before him or tried to help any way he could. He has such a good kind soul. I want to do something to make his day a little brighter and that's why I need your help. He deserves so much more than I can give. I'd like to help him get started on the right foot. Anything would be helpful and we would be forever grateful.
