We Lost Everything... LA Flood 2016
Stephanie Moreira residing in CT. grandmother of TARA FIORE and my future grandson LOGAN residing in Greenwell Springs, Louisiana. On Saturday August 13th 2016, they jumped up from a sound sleep soaked in water due to the rising waters from the rivers that completely flooded their entire home, car & pickup truck as well as Logan's Parents home, submerged in water along with the vehicles.
They lost everything they owned. The family living in CT. is helping with funds but, not enough to get them back on their feet. Tara and Logan are trying to complete their college courses while working part time to make ends meet. They are devestated and do not know what their future brings at this moment. They have a profound love for each other and will do whatever it takes to get them beyond this. Even if it means leaving college, trying to find full time work to get back what they've lost, their home!
I am retired, my husband still works to keep us going and will retire next year. He is physically drained and still working beyond his years of being able to retire. We would love to give more funds but are unable to.
If we can raise enough money these two young adults can get a bit of a jumpstart on rebuilding and continuing with their education that matters for their future.
Tara is looking to complete her finance courses and
Logan's courses are Agriculture.
This means so much to me, I raised Tara since she was 10 months old, giving her love, shelter, food and all the necessities to get along in life. I never dreamed of the despair she would encounter one day, a flood taking it all away.
I would be so thankful to anyone who helps these two
young adults rebuild towards a future.
Blessings to all, even those who are not able to donate
at this time.
Stephanie ( Tara's grandmother )
