I share with you a very special fundraiser for a very special boy - Eli Stanton.
Eli has been diagnosed with Crohn's disease, an inflammatory bowel disease. Crohn's is a life long auto immune disease managed with medications and lifestyle adjustments. He is a very tough kid, with the most beautiful nature, who never complains, but as a 12 year old this disease has and will impact his life incredibly!
Eli and his family are required to travel to hospital in Melbourne often and have ongoing costs associated with this disease. His devoted and very loving Mum and her family have had to take time off work to care for him and pay ongoing expenses for doctors and hospital visits, which will always be a part of his life. The reason I have created this fundraiser is so that I can bring Eli to an amazing retreat for some healing, education, gut health, to give his body a rest and to experience a medically designed detox program that his weak body deserves. As some of you may know I work at Living Valley Health Retreat. Living Valley has been educating, healing, saving and changing lives for 26 years and I believe so strongly that our program will help Eli. Our highly skilled therapists will teach Eli how to manage his condition and help him to understand why his body is attacking his immune system.
