Help David and Josh get to nationals in Oregon!

Hello everyone! My name is David Coles. As some of you may know, my teammate Joshua Peterson and I have been competing in track and field ever since our freshman year of high school. 

Over the years we have gone through many struggles to get to where we are now and fortunately, we were able to qualify for this year's outdoor Nationals event at the brand new Hayward Field at the University of Oregon. We will compete in Triple Jump on July 1st at this meet and both have a good chance of placing high in this competition. This is a meet we have dreamed of competing and winning in ever since we started taking this sport seriously. Last year the event was suspended due to covid so we have never gotten the chance to experience a real high school nationals outdoor event.

Unfortunately, after years of hard work, dedication, and multiple different championships, the school we attend will not be able to provide the funding needed for us to participate in this event. 

If you are familiar with the financial side of traveling for sports then you know that things can be very costly. We are asking our friends, family, and supporters to please help Josh and I compete in Oregon so we can achieve the dream of competing at the National Level. The fundraising goal is $4,000 - which will cover air transportation, uber fares, rooming, and meals for both of us. Any amount will help and so will your prayers.
