Lucy's Cancer Treatment

Hello, my name is Jazmine Diaz. As some of you may already know my mother, Lucina Diaz (aka Ramona), has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 Colorectal cancer. She has to undergo lengthy treatment which means she will start to accumulate many medical bills. She currently does not have medical insurance. Our family has already been going through a difficult time finacially, due to my father's recent Parkinson's diagnosis.

As many of her close friends and family already know, my mom is completely selfless. She puts others first, before even thinking of herself and she never hesistants to lend a helping hand in any situation. She has dedicated her life to providing for her family and volunteering at church. Since the moment she arrived in this country, she has worked tirelessly through weekends, birthdays, and holidays. Often working at more than one job. Her passion for cooking has touched the hearts of so many people. I would just simply like for her to know she is not alone in this fight. After spending so much time looking after myself and others, it is time for her to focus on herself.

Due to my parents' illnesses, neither of them are able to work at this time. I know everyone is going through some difficult times, but I kindly ask if you are willing and able, please consider donating. My family really appreciates your generousity and support!

Hola, mi nombre es Jazmine Diaz. Como algunos de ustedes ya sabrán, a mi madre, Lucina Díaz, recientemente le diagnosticaron cáncer colorrectal en etapa 4. Ha tenido que someterse a un tratamiento prolongado, lo que significa que comenzará a acumular muchas facturas médicas. Actualmente no tiene seguro médico. Nuestra familia ya ha estado pasando por un momento difícil económicamente, debido al reciente diagnóstico de Parkinson de mi padre.

Como muchos de sus familiares y amigos cercanos ya saben, mi mamá es completamente abnegada. Ella pone a los demás primero, incluso antes de pensar en sí misma y nunca duda en echar una mano en cualquier situación. Ha dedicado su vida a mantener a su familia y ser voluntaria en la iglesia. Desde el momento en que llegó a este país, ha trabajado incansablemente durante los fines de semana, cumpleaños y días festivos. Frecuentemente trabajando en más de un trabajo. Su pasión por la cocina ha tocado el corazón de tantas personas. Simplemente me gustaría que ella sepa que no está sola en esta lucha. Después de pasar tanto tiempo cuidando de mí y de los demás, es hora de que ella se concentre en sí misma.
