Nick Needs You

Nick was driving home from work one morning when a driver ran a stop sign and hit his vehicle. The accident split his car in half and caused it to flip. The jaws of life were needed to pry Nick out from the wreckage of the car. He sustained serious head trauma along with broken ribs, a punctured lung, and numerous other bones were broken. The driver at fault has low limits of liability so the weight of Nick’s extensive medical care is adding up quickly and falling on the shoulders of his family. His parents have come from out of state to help oversee his recovery and care for his teenage son. He is currently at a facility that specializes in head trauma treatment and is 3 hours from his home. Nick has a strong spirit as he is a 20 year army veteran, so he has made great progress with the aids and physical therapists there. Even so, it will take a long time to regain mobility and to rebuild strength. Daily costs at this facility are $6,000 a day. In addition to the hospital bills, all of Nick’s regular bills need to get paid. Disability does not replace a regular salary.
