Line-sided Fishing Charters Startup
Hello and thanks for stopping by to support my campaign! I'll start off by introducing myself, my name is Justin Santillo. I am a licensed USCG Captain, and am working towards starting a new charter fishing business in the Tampa Bay area. It has been a lifelong dream of mine to be able to share my knowledge and love of the ocean with others that share the same love, and those that are new to the sport of saltwater fishing. Ever since I was a young boy, fishing with my father and my grandfather I have had such a passion for this sport. I take such joy in watching both kids and adults hooked up to the fish of a lifetime, and be a part of making those memories for a father and a son, or a husband and wife, or even just an individual that enjoys a day on the water with nothing in their hand except a fishing pole. I have found that I enjoy being the guide more than being the angler because I get to see the joy that I can bring to these folks who want to bend the rod, whether it's a huge snook or even a throwback mangrove snapper, it never seems to matter much, the enjoyment comes from the sound of the drag screaming and the rod bending. I need the help of a few investors to get me off my feet and running with this. I have the local knowledge of the Tampa Bay area fishery, the knowledge of what equipment is needed to be successful, A really cool logo, and most importantly I am a licensed USCG Captain, I'm just missing that initial startup funding.
