My name is Lauren and I'm a Registered Nurse at Columbia University Medical Center. I would like to share my excitement with you over an upcoming trip I will be taking to Kenya in May of 2013!  I have become aware of a humanitarian organization named Project Helping Hands that takes medical teams to some of the neediest countries in the world, offering help and hope to those who have so little of either in their lives.

While I am covering the cost of my own trip, I am reaching out to you all for donations that will be brought to the team to buy supplies, medications, and cover medical expenses while working in clinics. Please help me raise money and change the lives of others who need it most :)
