Let Them Play Michigan has been the #1 advocate for student athletes in the state of Michigan since August 2020. We are 49,000 members strong on Facebook! We have held three rallies at the State Capitol in Lansing, where thousands of people have come together to fight for fall sports, fall playoffs, and most recently for winter sports. All three rallies have played a huge role in getting Michigan sports back for high school athletes! Our members have given testimony in front of the Senate and House and also filed a lawsuit against the MDHHS this past February, which fought to allow winter sports to start. This lawsuit was successful without having to step foot in a courtroom and winter sports started as requested! Unfortunately...we are in the position of having to take legal action once again. Student athletes across the state are being treated unfairly and are having their dreams and life long goals ripped away from them by tyrannical mandates from the government. The forced masks, testing, quarantining, and forfeits are a disaster and must stop! Let Them Play Michigan is raising funds to pay for its second round of legal actions. Our first step will be legally addressing the MDHHS and challenging their power to make the recent mandates regarding testing/quarantining of high school athletes. We will then move forward with whatever legal actions are needed to ensure that ALL MICHIGAN HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETES are treated fairly and are allowed to continue competing in their sport, without draconian demands from an over reaching government. 100% of all donations will go towards our legal actions. Our goal is to make legal moves that accomplish our mission without having to go to court...just like last time, but if we have to go to court, we are fully prepared to do so. If we have money left over we will pay for legal fees of individual athletes that may be forced to stand up and fight for their rights! We will also use any left over money for billboards supporting our cause. We're all in this together and will continue to support one another in any way possible! Let's do this guys!!!!
