On the night of June 18th I was leaving work, very fatigued and tired when a car suddenly threw on their breaks in front of me when I looked away for just a second to sneeze. I ended up rear ending the car in front of me at 50 mph (which was the speed limit). My car was the only one with major damage and nobody else was injured. I am fully aware this accident was mostly my fault but there was a factory recall on my brakes and airbag so it didn't not deploy, which is what caused the severe injuries to my face and other parts of my body. I completely lacerated my right eyelid and had to get it stitched back on, as well as severely injuring my right arm and several spots were I was bruised very badly. My car is basically totaled, I have no health insurance, and I am now unable to work for an indeterminate amount of time. I really wish I didn't have to make this page but I don't know how else I am going to pay my rent this month. I had been working 50-80 hours a week between two jobs, one which completely relied on me having a car and now I have zero source of income. I'm only asking enough to help pay my rent, the other stuff is less important to me. Even if you can give a dollar, anything helps. I take full responsibility for what happened that night but my family is in a tough financial situation to be able to completely help me. I have no idea when I can return to work but I pray for a speedy recovery and I appreciate all the love and support given to me thus far ❤️
