Send the Lochridges on a mission
This summer, Doxa, the high school youth group from Christ the King Community Church, is going on a mission trip to Roatan, Honduras, and we are excited to tell you that the whole Lochridge family is a part of the team that's going.
We will spend July 1-12 in Roatan, where we will be helping in many ways. Eric will support the team with his Spanish skills. Angie is excited to work in the women and children's clinic called Clinica Esperanza. Emma will use her talents in performance to help with music and drama for the vacation Bible school, and Ethan will use his love for playing and telling stories to entertain the children in the orphanage. We will also be walking to several villages to deliver water, beans and rice and also assisting in building projects.
We would love for you to partner with us in praying for our trip. Could you please pray for us consistently as we prepare for the trip, and while we are on the trip could you pray for us daily?
Along with developing a prayer team, we need to raise
support to cover the costs of the project. Our family needs to raise $8,000, and we are happy to report that family and friends have given nearly 20 percent of that total already. The cost includes food, lodging, and airfare and gives us some resources to
help people who are in need.
We are so excited to serve the needs in Roatan this summer, and we thank everyone who becomes a part of this mission through their gifts and prayers. For your planning, please know that we need to raise $4,000 of our funds by April 7 and the full $8,000 by June 2.
