I share a tragic, unexpected loss. A dear friend and colleague suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on February 27th, 2022. A horrible accident at home took this young man too soon. A family is left shattered in mourning, trying to pick up the pieces and fill in the blanks about how this could have happened. Tristan Travon Garland was born October 31, 1985, in Redwood City, Ca.

Tristan has been a pillar to his family and close friends. He was the youngest of 3 and the only boy. He was a father of one and an uncle of eight. His love, kindness and generosity go without measure. During his years, he's encountered so many people from all walks of life. Tristan felt that you could love anybody and always speak life into someone. He has spent the past 14 years of his life committed to work. He always picked up the slack and made sure there was no work left behind. No one has met him that will forget him, but they will always have a story and memory to tell. We will miss him dearly.
