Help George Battle Cancer

2020 has been a rough year for everyone. Unfortunately, on September 5th, it got even tougher for George. At 4am, he rushed himself to the ER and after having emergency surgery, got news that nobody wants to hear. Doctors found cancer in his appendix/colon (Adenocarcinoma). Since then, he has had 2 more surgeries and endured a horrible infection which landed him back in the hospital. Shortly after his last surgery, he was informed that his cancer had spread and he is stage 3b. He will need to have major oral surgery before he can start the next step in Chemotherapy. The medical bills are already piling up and it’s just the beginning of a long journey to recovery. Anyone that knows George, knows that he has dedicated his whole life to taking care of others. From raising his 6 children as a single dad (and most of their friends too lol) to then being a caretaker for his mother in her final years and finally being the most amazing “Boompa” to his 9 grandchildren. He is the most fun, loving, caring and nurturing person and he is in need of help himself now. Anything you can donate to help him would be so greatly appreciated. Even if you can’t afford to donate money, sharing this and sending him loving messages of positivity and love would really lift his spirits. It’s been really hard to battle this by himself in and out of the hospital due to the Covid restrictions and not being able to see most of his support system. Let’s help get him through this so he can enjoy some more time with his family when the pandemic is over ❤️ Georges children have set up this fund and he has authorized his daughter Caitlin, who he is currently living with, to withdraw all donations to pay for his medical bills and living expenses during treatment.
