Michael Sullivan Cancer Treatment

The thought of trying to put in to words what we are feeling with Mike's cancer diagnosis seems almost impossible. Instead I would like to share Mike's thoughts with you. No one could write it better or more from the heart.


From Mike:
Dear family and friends, I am not excited at all to announce the following but feel it's important for me to let it out of the box.

I'm sure most of you remember back in 2009 when I battled Non Hodgkins Lymphoma and kicked it's butt. Well unfortunately, it has returned for a second round. I'm ready to face it and defeat this nasty disease once again.

I'm asking for thoughts and prayers for myself but especially for my family and close friends. I do not want anyone else to suffer in fear or anxiety for my situation as I have no doubt that I will conquer and overcome. I do not want to sound cocky but God is on my side and there is nothing that he cannot defeat!

I've seen a lot of crazy things happen around me lately that blows my mind. Some things that have been extremely sad and other things that have been very joyful! I feel that God is busier than ever in all of our lives right now and we need to take note. He loves us more than I can understand or fathom. I know in my life, He shows me in many different ways every single day. It is much easier to notice now that I've been faced with this situation again.

I have the best sidekick ever who will not leave my side. Please pray to give my awesome wife strength and courage through these times. In addition, my family and close friends have been an incredible blessing and I know this would be much tougher without them! Thank you to all who has already been here for me and also for all who I know will continue to offer their supreme support and love throughout this fight.

I love you all and I am extremely grateful to have each and every one of you in my life!
