This is my dad, Mike Ramey. He moved to Paradise, CA six months ago and has been tragically affected by the Paradise Camp Fire.
He is an incredible human, a man of integrity and someone who is always willing to help others. In fact he was in Chico, helping my sister with a project, when he recieved word of the fire, leaving him little time to make up to Paradise to gather the necessary items. By the time he got there, his neighborhood was on fire and his backyard already burning.
Yesterday he lost all that he owns in the Paradise Camp Fire. He was renting and does not have renter insurance so none of it will be reimbursed. Starting from nothing is a great challenge, but my dad is already working to get back on his feet. Whatever you can offer to help ease this transition would be graciously appreciated.
