Charlene Whipple Memorial Fund

My sister Charlene was not only my sister but my best friend all of my childhood. She had a huge heart and was fiercely loyal to her loved ones. She unfortunately had a horrible addiction that caused her life to be a constant rollercoaster. She and her longtime boyfriend Sam Davila both were found deceased on September 8th, 2016. No ones family should have to experience what our families continue to go thru. We still hang onto hope that someday they will find who is responible for thier murder. We are all being strong for each other but mostly for her children. 
Charlene leaves behind 3 beautiful and wonderful children. The oldest just about to begin her senior year. This campaign has been a God send for helping care for her children. Especially, filling in the gap before being able to receive her death benifits. Anyone who has knows that it helps but, unfortunely this does not cover everything especially the expenses of a highschool senior. The grandmother Elizabeth Whipple (who is retired  and on social security )is the primay caregiver for Charlene's daughters and  her son lives with his father. 
Our family has never had much but, we always found a way to get by. I began this campain just to give my sister a proper memorial service. And, I can not express the immesurable grattitude for the love and generosity my family has been shown. I continue to leave this page here for hopes of continued support for her children.  All that has been raised has gone to just that. From every day bills and healthcare to school clothes, marching band and band school trips. 
We continue to morn our sister and ache for the loss of a lovely person.She was so much more than just a person suffering from mental illness and addiction. A mother, Aunt, sister and a daughter.  Any and all donations will be held with the greatest gratitude and help a special person continue to contribute to her childrens lives.
