Heather was diagnosed with breast cancer three years ago, underwent treatment, and made what we thought to be a full recovery. A little over a month ago, a routine PET scan showed a cancerous spot had developed on her liver. On July 22, 2016, she had surgery to remove the spot. Surgeons were confident she would heal quickly and recover fully. Unfortunately, complications occurred, requiring additional surgeries.
On Tuesday, August 9, 2016, after a procedure, she hemorrhaged and went into cardiac arrest. Though the doctors worked tirelessly to revive her, they could not.
Heather’s death has been a shock. The family is grateful for the outpouring of prayers, love, and support. Many have asked what they can do to help. This GoFundMe account will provide relief for the many financial stresses associated with a loss of this magnitude. The money donated will be used to help with the many expenses associated with this loss.
Thank you in advance for your generosity and compassion.
Love,
Jeff, Owen, Taylor and family
