On May 18th about 8:00am, Tristan was riding his scooter to school.  He was crossing the street and was hit by a car.  The car did not stop and left Tristan lying in the middle of the road.  A neighbor ran out to help and called 911.  Tristan was transported to the local ER and was found to have suffered a broken tibia and broken ankle.  Fortunately for him and his family, he is going to recover just fine.  The police are searching for the driver of the vehicle that hit him.  

Tristan is not covered by medical insurance as his parent recently was laid off.  This has been established by a friend and neighbor to help offset some of the costs of Tristan's medical care, including the ambulance transport and ER bills, orthopedic surgery and rehabilitation.  The family is very grateful for any contributions to Tristan's medical fund.   Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
