Art League New Britain needs a new roof!
Tax deductible
Art League New Britain (ANLB) needs your help!
We need a new roof ASAP! Our goal is to raise enough money to cover the cost of the new roof and other necessary repairs.
ALNB is a historical site and one of the oldest art leagues in the USA. It was founded in 1928 by Sanford B D Low, the first director of the New Britain Museum of American Art.
ALNB originally started as an art school holding day and evening sessions. In 1934 ALNB transitioned into an art club where artists could work together, gather for social affairs, and continue its educational mission. It continues with exhibits featuring local and regional artists, classes, workshops, and seminars.
For almost 100 years, ALNB has been run solely by volunteers with no paid staff. We do not have an endowment, and currently, no grants are available for this emergency.
Please join us in preserving this historic site! Thank you for your contribution; it means so much to us!
