Help Ted Fight Cancer

As some of you recently heard, my brother Ted has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Prostate Cancer, this after overcoming other health issues this past year, which used up his savings.
After a successful kidney stone procedure Ted was still having severe pain in his left kidney area and having intestinal distress. A CAT scan revealed healthy kidneys but also showed a very enlarged prostate and inflamed lymph nodes. The inflamed lymph nodes are still causing him chronic and severe pain in his back, hips, and stomach. After a biopsy at the beginning of March, he was diagnosed with stage four cancer.
This week he began his treatments but there is a deep concern the cancer has migrated into his bones. He is scheduled for a bone scan in two weeks.
Like many, Ted lost full time work in March of 2020. Though he has returned to his stagehand job, work has been limited and inconsistent and will continue to be so until theaters and concert halls in New York City are allowed to reopen at full capacity.
Due to the lack of work, Ted no longer qualifies for the union health insurance plan. His health insurance will end June 30th, 2021. He hopes to be able to get a COBRA extension, but COBRA insurance can be expensive.
Ted has a long, hard road ahead of him and we're hoping to make his journey less financially difficult so he can concentrate on getting well again. All donations will be going towards his medical bills and living expenses. 2020 was hard on many, so if you are unable to donate, we understand.
