X out Aplastic Anemia

Our Xisto was born in Carmel, Indiana in 2006. Raised in Casper,Wy and now lives in Albuquerque, NM. He is a black belt in Taekwondo, alter server and student at Alameda Elementary - an all around great kid!
In early May, Xisto was diagnosed with Severe Aplastic Anemia.
Which means none of his blood cells are working or building. It is a rare disease in which the bone marrow and the hematopoietic stem cells that reside there are damaged. This causes a deficiency of all three blood cell types, that is his red and white blood cells and his platelets.
We are asking for you support in helping to offset the medical expenses needed for his treatment. His treatment will be long term as we begin the immunosuppressive therapy. His family was not a match for a bone marrow transplant.
