244km Charity Cycle for Women’s Aid
A group of us are fundraising for Women’s Aid by doing a charity cycle of 244km over the last weekend of February, Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th, in and around Sligo.
The 244km is representative of the 244 women in Ireland who have lost their lives due to violent femicide since 1996. Off the back of the death of Ashling, as well as several other terrible nationwide altercations, we thought it would be a good time to raise some funds for women’s aid. We also hope by keeping this issue at the forefront of conversation for everyone, that a 'Call it Out' culture can be fostered, especially amongst men and young men.
We appreciate all donations! Cheers!
