Dan Mahaffeys cancer fund

Hello my name is Dawn Corbin and I am trying to raise money for my brother in law Daniel Mahaffey. Daniel is a wonderful person and has given much to the community through his many years working in the medical field. In 2016 Dan was diagnosed with stage four bladder cancer that has spread to his bones. He is currently recieving pallative care and can no longer work. HIs cancer is incurrable and his inablility to work has caused a huge financial burden. Daniel also has to have chemotherapy and radiation several times a week and the medical costs are  astromonical. His wife, my sister Barbara is a RN and the only source of income for the family. She has had to take time off to care for Daniel which leaves them in finacial peril. Daniel is a huge animal lover and an avid fisherman. He was also a great handy man. However now their house needs repairs as the roof needs fixed and they do not have the money to hire some one to fix it. Dan is too ill to climb up on the roof and fix it his self. Dan's only hope for more time is his treatments with out them the cancer will progress rapidly and he will die. Unfortunelty Dan and Barb have  to choose between paying  for his treatments or paying thier bills. Daniel has worked hard for 30+ years taking care of others, please help us take care of him. Any contribution no matter how small will be greatly appriciated. My sister is upset because she has to choose between taking care of her husbands illness or working to make ends meet. And even when she is working they just keep falling more and more behind. I help them in any way I can, but I am a single mom of three and don't have much money to spare. My sister and her husband are such caring and good people it makes me so sad to see them go through this.
