My Volunteer Trip to India!

My name is Stephanie Rosario and I live in New York and here I am a student and part time worker! On the other hand, I have been privileged to participate in several international and domestic mission endeavors over the past 9 years. In the past, I have made trips to Ohio, Virginia, Philadelphia, Puerto Rico, and Ghana (Africa) to serve people and churches in different ways in my time with a group I am a part of, Hearts-Of-Fire Inc. Now this is my first trip without the usual group I'm apart of, but this is a new chapter God is opening up for me!
While in India, I will be volunteering with Vision Rescue. Vision Rescue is a nonprofit charity committed to providing food, education, medical support for children out in the street. They also provide vocational training and even rehabilitation services for the addicted. This trip will have me serving in where they need me the most; whether that is in some administrative way or working with children, I will be there to do it.
After plane tickets, vaccinations, visas, and room and board in India, the trip will cost an estimate of $3,500. So I know I will need a good portion of the funds in the next month ^.^ - if more time is needed I will continue to fund raise and push back the date! My stay will last three months from either June-Sept. or July-Oct., and I will be staying in the city of Mumbai.
I have been thinking about going to India for 3 years and now finally I find the time ripe and ready to go! I have a passion for traveling and helping those in need and the outcome of the time, effort, and prayer is always worth it in the end!
