Help Kate escape an abusive household

Hi! My name is Kate! I’m a 22 year old artist and music producer. I have two cats, and somehow a lot of stuff. Since COVID-19 began, I have lost my housing three times. I have ended up all the way in Kansas City, from Las Vegas. My landlord in Las Vegas kicked me and a roommate out at the beginning of COVID, which sent her to Utah and me to Kansas City. I moved in with a person I met on Twitter, who I saw as a friend. She came home with a bunch of medication one night, and came into my room screaming in my face. She screamed at me to get out, find somewhere else to go. She refuses to give me the $600 she owes me. My mental health is deteriorating and I fear for my wellbeing, my cats, and my possessions. She has been mentally abusive, manipulative, she would invite people over and go to parties during quarantine while telling me that I couldn’t go places because if I did, “I would give Covid to her dying mother”. Which, is true, however....she wasn’t very sensitive with her actions. She acted very impulsively and self destructively during our time living together. She would spend every penny she had, borrow money from her dad (claiming it for bills), and then would spend every penny of that. Now, we would get to bills and rent and she would be days late. Weeks sometimes. On multiple occasions, I have caught her throwing my cats across the hallway. She also neglects her dog, she doesn’t take him outside to go to the restroom (he’s 50lbs). Now, I have to leave all of my belongings because I can’t fit anything in my fiat with my cats. I have a little bit of money saved up, but it was intended for rent where I am. I wasn’t expecting to have to move and come up with thousands to do so. I only have till August 28th to get enough money together to move. Literally ANYTHING is appreciated and I will never forget the help I have received! I know it is really hard for almost everyone right now, so I understand that not everyone is able to help my situation, but if you can share this GFM, there might be someone who can! ❤️ Thank you for taking the time to read this and help me! ————————————— UPDATE: I left on the 11th, I drove back to LA behind an old friend from Michigan. I made it here safely! I am currently couch surfing. I have been here for a month and have only now been able to get a stable job. (9/28) I literally have NOTHING anymore, I have no furniture, half my clothes/shoes, one towel/ blanket, scarce food/toiletries. My car has a lot of issues and it’s not reliable for me anymore, which only adds onto my no-where-to-live problem. I am hoping to come up with the money I need by November 1st so I can get into a place to live. I don’t think I can do it on my own, not with my cats to take care of and my car! I really really really would appreciate any help anyone can give me. Even if you just know of a place for rent in the LA area!!!
