Alexandria Leigh Goodwin, known as Alex, was a shining star around Groveport Madison High School, our community, and at Capital University. In high school she was a member of Student Council, National Honor Society, theatre, choir, color guard, and so much more. A sister of Phi Sigma Sigma sorority, the executive director of Activity Management and Programming, and a team leader in charge of planning and implementing Summer Orientation were only a few things she led as a Public Relations Major. She was an amazing actress and stared in many high school plays. She had an infectious laugh, a smile that could like light up the world, and a voice that you could hear from Heaven.
Alex went to be with the Lord on May 5, 2016 unexpectedly. She leaves behind a selfless, amazing family, whose strength is inspiring.
I went to school and church with Alex and her sister, Elise. I am setting up this fund to help alleviate the accruing costs of this tragedy.
As Alex was our friend and role model to many of us, we, as a community are asking for your support. All funds will be used for funeral costs. Until we see you again Alex, sing and dance lots, and we love you.
