My name is Omar Brown, a Senior at Amherst College and I am writing this letter to reach out for support. Things have been very challenging for my family over the past two years. Most recently my mother has suffered from a cardiac and is in need of surgery, and my grandmother has been admitted to the hospital. These circumstances, among others, have placed a strain on my parents finances. I have taken out the maximum amount of student loans possible and right now I am in need of charity. 

I am reaching out to friends and family to help me raise the money I need. I hope to raise 7,000 dollars for my mothers heart surgery. Through your support I will be able to to help my mother to have this essential procedure.
