For Sawyer

My son Sawyer, as I'm sure some of you know, is having surgery on the 31st of this month. Me and my wife Stephanie and both our sons are flying to Philadelphia on the 26th and will be there until the 4th of June. He is having surgery to attempt to regain some use of his arm that had nerve damage during birth, the injury is called a Brachial Plexus injury. We have been going from Ocala at least twice a week to Gainesville for therapy and or appointments with a surgeon since he was a week or two old. He is now 6 months old and needless to say we have spent so much on gas already for this and after the surgery we aren't sure if he will need more frequent therapy or not. I am going to miss at least two weeks of work and although i have 1 week vacation time we are worried about finances not only being in Philadelphia for 8 days (we are going to have to rent a car and food etc) but for when we return with missing work and still having all our normal bills to pay. I have never asked for help in this way and its taken me a while to admit we need it right now, but if anyone can help at all even in the slightest it would mean so much to me and my family. We have been through so much since Sawyer was born emotionally and otherwise dealing with this, even after surgery the Doctors are saying he will eventually have up to 70 percent use of his arm for the rest of his life and that's after years of therapy and possibly more surgeries. If you cant donate then please share this! And if anyone wants some sort of proof we aren't scamming we are more than happy to show paperwork or whatever you need to feel comfortable. Even in the picture of him here you can see his left arm is just kind of there by his side because he cant use it.
