On May 1st 2016, 6 year old Aidan was with his family hiking on the trails near the Big Four Ice Caves when he got separated from his family.  Search and Rescue crews began searching for him both on the ground and by helicopter.  Just before 9 p.m. they found his body in the South Fork of the Stillaguamish River, about a mile downstream from the trail's footbridge.  The search and rescue teams tried to revive him with CPR but unfortunately they were unsucessful.  http://komonews.com/news/local/six-year-old-boy-reported-missing-near-big-four-ice-caves
