After 8 years of movement, texture and quiet transformation, Belly Dance Services approaches a temporary finale.

What began in 2018 as the dream of a single record gradually unfolded into a platform for exploration, collaboration and sonic dialogue. Now in 2026, with Belly Dance Services 30th release, that journey arrives at a carefully framed moment in time – not as a conclusion, but as a conscious pause within an ongoing process. 2126 stands as both document and gesture, marking the end of one cycle while pointing toward what has not yet taken form.

Why 2126?

2126 is not simply a number. It is a projection forward, a space in which sound imagines what lies ahead. The title also carries 126 beats per minute, the pulse that unites every composition on this record. Each track approaches this tempo in its own way, bending and stretching the perception of time. Within this approach also lies a philosophy that has always defined Belly Dance Services: to create music that resists time, music that does not belong to a trend or a season, but remains suspended between memory and anticipation.

After years of predominantly digital releases on Belly Dance Services, the return to vinyl is deliberate. Vinyl demands presence. It asks for attention, for touch, for a slowing down. It transforms sound into object, into surface, into weight. 2126 is conceived not only as an album, but as a physical work: something to be held, archived and rediscovered. Each track moves at 126 BPM, yet the experience is not confined to the dancefloor.

The compositions inhabit a space between club architecture and domestic intimacy. They carry the physical weight of rhythm while unfolding through layered melodies and subtle harmonic textures.

Latin warmth meets European restraint; percussive roots dissolve into spacious electronic structures. It is club music filtered through memory and migration. It is living-room contemplation with a persistent pulse beneath the surface. The album forms a continuous passage: immersive, hypnotic and emotionally resonant.

The Artists

Nick Hanzo, co-founder of Belly Dance Services (2018), has solely directed its course since 2022, gradually refining a sonic language that balances clarity and depth. After numerous releases 2126 marks his first studio album a distilled expression of the aesthetic shaped over the years.

Ismael Pinkler, Argentinian producer with over two decades of experience in electronic music production, mixing and mastering. He has contributed to more than 150 releases on international labels, refining a sound shaped by clarity, depth, and meticulous attention to detail.

The connection between Nick and Ismael happened through music some time ago. In 2025 their exchange deepened when they worked together on the EP Cromo and recognized a shared sensibility – a mutual understanding of space, tension and emotional precision. What emerged is not collaboration by circumstance, but by resonance.

The circle closes

There is a quiet symmetry within this release: The label’s first vinyl was produced by its original founders, Nick Hanzo and Yaman. Years later, another artistic dialogue shapes this milestone. Without nostalgia, without repetition, yet with a sense of resolution.

The Vision

The final form of the record 2126 remains intentionally open. The tracklist will evolve in relation to the outcome of this campaign. If possible, the album will unfold as a double vinyl, allowing the music to expand and breathe across a wider surface.

The structure will not be defined by limitation, but by the space the work is able to claim. The visual identity is entrusted to Austrian artist Nico Schleicher, who has created a mood image outlining the project’s direction — not as decoration, but as an extension of its sonic architecture.

Mastering will be chosen with great care to ensure that every frequency translates with clarity and depth onto vinyl.

The Edition

The release will be limited to 300 copies, not as a strategy of scarcity, but as a conscious decision to preserve scale and intimacy. Each copy becomes part of a finite constellation. A trace of an eight-year chapter.
