Support Lindsay Moore

On March 24, 2020, during a global pandemic, Lindsay heard the news that she had a brain tumor. After removing it, she was diagnosed with glioblastoma. A tumor that is fast growing, and a condition that is in need of immediate and aggressive attention, which initially includes 6 weeks of chemotherapy and radiation for which she will make daily trips to Columbus to receive. Because of Covid-19, much of her treatment will be faced alone. It is possible that she could also have clinical immunotherapy treatments in the future. There have been positive signs along this journey including the complete removal of the initial tumor, and news that she has a genetic marker that makes treatment more likely to be successful in this battle!


Lindsay is a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, teacher and friend. Her life continues to be marked by working hard, pursuing ambitious goals, living a healthy lifestyle, and most of all giving of herself completely to the ones she loves. She is facing this difficult situation by leaning on her unwavering faith in God, and through the support of the many family and friends who love her dearly.



In May of 2005, las Viejas formed as a group of friends supporting experience in the Peace Corps. Our friendship has seen us through many seasons, and we created this page to extend our love and care for Lindsay and her beautiful family. There are bound to be unexpected expenses not covered by insurance that will arise for these treatments (travel, etc.).
