Help Support the McCarthy Family

We are starting this fundraising effort to help alleviate some of the medical costs the McCarthys are accumulating while searching for answers for their sweet boy, Finn. Here’s a quick summary of their situation: They thought he was having some sort of allergic reaction to a medication so he was taken to his pediatrician. He had labs drawn and they were told to immediately head to UMC. He was in the Pediatric ICU for 2 days and has been in the pediatric ward since. Today he is being transferred to Cooks Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth. They know his kidneys aren’t functioning properly. He hasn’t responded to treatment either. They are hoping the nephrology team at Cooks can give them some answers. He is retaining a lot of fluid and his blood pressure is high. He has developed a fever and is on antibiotics currently.
