Keep Blue Jay Alive

100% of the proceeds for this will go directly to the owner (Cara Murphy) of Blue Jay Listening Room in Jax Beach. This is a small business that relies primarily on ticket and bar sales from nightly shows to sustain itself. The venue has been closed for several months since March 2020 with no cash flow coming in during the height of the pandemic. At the end of 2020 it has finally reopened for business, but shows and revenue still remain very limited. As a local musician who appreciates what Cara, her staff, and this amazing music venue has done for our community, I feel compelled to do whatever is possible to show love and financial support to Blue Jay ownership and staff by asking the community to come together.

I was not asked by Blue Jay to put this fundraiser together, but I am asking this of all of you - whoever has the ability and means to help, please consider giving to this establishment during this time that hits small businesses the most. Let’s ensure that this venue can survive the current setback in our local economy, so we can continue to enjoy the fellowship within our community and incredible nights of music for years to come at the Blue Jay.
