Garland High School Robotics Fund
Garland ISD's Garland High School robotics team is going global, with representation at the 2013 VEX Robotics World Championships. More than 700 of the best middle and high school teams from 15 countries will face off in April, 2013, in California.
Dec. 1 in Greenville, TX at the VEX Sack Attack Tournament, teams from Garland High School and Austin Academy formed an alliance to beat more than 50 other competitors, walking away as tournament champions and qualifying for the World Championship.
Again on Dec. 8th in Garland, TX at the VEX Robotics Texas Regional Tournament, the Garland High School team again beat out 50 different teams and qualified again for World's, proving that they are truly champions!
And Again - on February 28th in Sachse, TX at the GISD/Sachse League play, Team 3795A were the tournament champions and also took home the "Robotics Excellence Award" - qualifying again for World's!!
Garland's winning team, number 3795A, consists of three high school freshman who are"” Ruben, Dylan, and Justin.
The team is now trying to raise funds to go and compete at the World's Competition in Anaheim, California on April 17th, 2013.

Our team has worked hard to make it as far as we have. Please help our team reach our goal so that we may participate in this awesome event! Funds will go towards transportation, airfare, hotel, and meals.
