A Parrot For Jaiden

After reflecting on my previous interactions with my friend's parrot one day, I knew a parrot was the bird for me. I felt very excited about the feeling of having a parrot on my shoulder and with me all the time. Naturally, I rushed to the internet and did as much research on parrots as I could memorizing names of different types of parrots and what their natural habitats were. I was very intrigued at how much personality each parrot has and how every parrot is unique.    After visiting multiple pet shops, I landed in an exotic pet store. After visiting a few times a kind employee offered to let me hold Doc and I gladly accepted. The first time I held Doc, he was very nippy and anxious but I knew if I continued visiting Doc he would warm up to me. Now, everytime I see Doc he fluffs up out of excitement and greets me with realistic sci-fi laser sounds and kisses. Meeting Doc was very touching and ever since our first interaction I knew Doc was the bird for me. I continued coming to the bird shop frequently for months and grew a strong bond with Doc. Prior to my discovery of parrots my mother made a large investment in me. Due to this investment, we are unable to afford Doc. It is very important to me that Doc and I can continue to be friends for the rest of our lives.
