OXSHOTT SCOUTS & GUIDES WISH LIST for New Community Hub

After many years of fundraising, 1st Oxshott Scouts and Oxshott Girlguiding have finally rebuilt their new halls. The new Building is known as Oxshott Community Hub and is available to many other groups and members of our Community for hire.

We were fortunate to be granted around £ 1,000,000 from Your Fund Surrey, Surrey County Council for the development and construction of the new Community Hub. Without this funding assistance, Oxshott Scouting and Girlguiding would not have been able to continue in our community as our old halls were no longer fit for use. 1st Oxshott Scouts and Oxshott Girlguiding volunteers will manage and maintain the building on behalf of the community.

We are now looking to raise additional funds to finish off this incredible new community building.

The current list includes:

1st Oxshott Scouts and Oxshott Girlguiding offer varied programmes which allows boys and girls to challenge themselves and try new activities, building self confidence and self esteem. Age 4-18, boys and girls from Oxshott & our surrounding communities, attend a number of different schools and Scouting and Girlguiding provides our young people a safe space to foster friendships locally.

This tree is a celebration of all the generous donors who have supported our project over the years. The tree is a symbol of the community's support and dedication.
