Errol Thurston Bahamas Hurricane Relief Fund

Abaco, Bahamas is devastated from Hurricane Dorian, a Category 5 direct hit to Abaco.   My name is Mercedes Thurston and I am creating this page on behalf of my husband Errol Thurston who is a proud Bahamian and owner of Errol Thurston Bahamas, a fishing guide service in Abaco.  He was born and raised in Abaco and I’ve been blessed to call Abaco my second home for many years now.  We’ve set up this GoFundMe Page to help the people of Abaco during their greatest time of need.  Hurricane Dorian demolished this island; it’s the worst I ever seen.  Bahamians are strong and the people of Abaco are even stronger.  We will keep praying and rebuild from the ground up.  Your donations wIll help us purchase the supplies these families are in desperate need of at the moment for basic survival, such as water, food, toiletries, medical items, etc.  We are also collecting and purchasing items that are needed for cleanup purposes and to begin rebuilding Abaco.  We have several volunteers donating boats, planes, and fuel to help transport items over once it is safe to travel.  This is an opportunity for us all to join together and help our neighbors rebuild their lives  Thank you in advance for your help.  Every little bit makes a huge difference!  If you have specific questions you can always reach out to us at [e-mail geredigeerd].
