Believing for a Miracle

 You ever just know you were created to do something specific? Well I know God put everything in me to cook & bake amazing, fun and beautiful tasting food and desserts for people. My Grandmama Louise (just passed Jan 28, 2012) and my Aunt Yvette (just passed Jan 25, 2012) were the greatest cooking and baking influences in my life, and I have been learning to perfect it since I was 7 years old.  

For years I avoided the call and only did things at my own pace. In 2010 I finally yielded and opened up a cafe that offers everything from an Espresso bar & desserts by the slice to whole custom order dessert creations and full service catering. It has truly been an amazing experience with our growth and fantastic clientele multiplying daily. With that said, there is still so much to be done. I have managed to do all of this without any loans, but due to several serious medical issues with my husband, and a couple surgeries for my daughter without any insurance our medical expenses have consumed us. I am praying to keep my business flourishing and to not let the personal issues overtake me. Though lately I have been feeling that I am in quicksand and in over my head. To provide this information is personal but maybe in sharing someone is the answer to my prayer, my miracle. NO time for pride now!

I have been running my business pretty much alone with the help of some family members but I think it is time to get in some more help to see the growth that will take place. I have been unable to secure any loans with all the medical stuff so I am praying to take my business next level and by doing so it will benefit the personal side.
