Join the fight to end Addison's disease 4Philip
Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far.
Because of your help, we have been able to start the foundation and become established as a 501c3 organization, however, we still have a long way to go.
This silent, yet deadly killer took my boy much too early in his life and each day I'm reminded of him in everything I see, say or do. There are days when the pain is so bad it makes me want to just lock the door and shut out the world.
But deep down, I know I can't do that. I mustn't do that. Philip is depending upon me now.
Philip once wrote a paper for his English class and he called me his hero. He called me his hero because I always encouraged him to try his best at what he was working on and to never give up.
Now it's my calling to live up to that title, but, I have to be honest and tell you now I can't do this alone. Here is where I need your help.
In conjunction with Duke University's Children's Hospital, a research fund has been established. They are very interested in researching the causes of this disease in children. Just this year alone they have more than 800 cases of children suffering and the numbers are growing daily.
Philip never turned his back on any of his friends and I need your help to help these kids now. Give what you feel comfortable giving and know that every dollar provided is going to provide education and support for those suffering from this hideous disease.
A gift as small as $5.00 can do so much.
Can you do one day without coffee to help these kids?
Can you do more? Will you help me to help them?
We need to reach as many people as possible to bring forth the message that Addison's disease is not as rare as once believed.
Thank you so much for your support.
Gratefully yours,
Eric Hart
