100km Skate For Big Brothers Big Sisters

100 kilometres. 700 laps. 1 local cause. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Listowel provides life-changing opportunities and relationships for children that are truly in need of them. However, for the Listowel area, the waiting list for these services is often long. On April 27th, 2019 I will be skating 100 kilometres (700 laps), over a span of 10 hours. My goal is to raise money AND awareness to help as many local girls and boys as possible. I myself am a Big Brother and have seen first-hand how beneficial these relationships can be for our youth. I can also tell you that the experience has been even more wonderful for myself. I have set a monetary fundraising goal of $5000, but I also hope to encourage all of you to become a Big Brother or Sister. So please donate, or get yourself involved, or both!
