Supporting mental health starts with taking care of our physical well-being especially for the many men who suffer in silence, choosing to internalize their struggles rather than reach out.
I have my own history with mental health, often hiding my internal struggles from family and friends bottling up feelings I thought I wasn’t supposed to have, simply because I’m a man. I believed that being a man meant always being a pillar of strength, never showing sorrow. But thanks to the support of my loving girlfriend and mother, I’ve come to realize that my thoughts and feelings are valid and that there’s so much more to them than I ever allowed myself to believe.
Remember! Speaking to family and friends is a sign of strength, not weakness. You don’t have to face it alone. I'll be posting videos of my progression in order to physically support this cause as well as donating wherever i possibly can, help out if you may or even join in we're all in this together!
