Help AJ get to the Taekwondo Nationals

Greeting supporting Friends and Family,
First let me start by thanking all of you that supported "AJ" last year with his goal of making it to Nationals. It was with your support that he not only got to Nationals but was able to win once he got there. AJ is now a USA Jr. Prep Team Member. His profile is on the USA Olympic Team website. Please click the link to view his profile. He is one step closer to his goal of being on the USA Olympic Team and competing at the 2020 Summer Olympics thanks to you.
AJ once again needs your support in reaching the next step in his huge quest to become a US Olympian. There are many steps to reaching his goal and the next step is to become a USA Jr. Cadet Team Member. In order to do this he needs to compete and win again at National this year. Then he will get a chance to compete on the world stage and hopefully become a Jr. Cadet World Champion. He would be considered the best 12-14 year old Taekwondo athlete in the world, for his age. However he must first be seen as the best again in the United States by competing at Nationals.
Nationals are in Chicago, Illinois this year and he needs your help in getting there. Last year with your help AJ felt like he won because of his supporters. He did not want to let anyone down, so your support did much more than get him to nationals, your support gave AJ that extra motivation he needed to win.
We are asking once again that you please support AJ by donating whatever you can, to help AJ reach that next step of his goal of being an Olympic Champion someday.
Below are the cost of getting to Chicago and participating in the National event.
Travel cost from California to Chicago and back = $500
1 week lodging while in Chicago = $1200
Equipment cost for event = $320
Event registration fees = $200
Local Transportation while in Chicago = $300
Food = $300
Miscellaneous or unknown cost - $300
Total = $3120.00
The support given last year made AJ and I feel like his accomplishment was a team effort. With the team (you) again behind AJ, he hopes to once again win it all and reach his next step in his Goal of 2020 Olympic Gold.
