2 Broken Ankles

Donation protected
As many of you may know, I recently fractured both of my ankles in Mexico. While at first I thought I had just sprained one ankle, I woke up the next day to two blue and purple Flintstone feet that were ten times their normal size (I couldn't tell where my calves ended and my ankles began.) The doctors told me I had fractured both ankles, one in two places, the other in three. This required surgery, and permanent metal rods in both ankles (and I don't have insurance, so everything is out-of-pocket). I will also be in casts for two months: this means no walking, and no working for at least two months.
I hate to ask for help or charity, but I am swallowing my pride and asking for anything that you might be able to contribute towards the cost of my medical bills. Any donation, as small as $10 or $20, would be much appreciated and go a long way towards helping me out of this situation. I've always prided myself on being able to stand on my own two feet, but at the moment, this is not an option. Thank you for any help you can give.
