I never thought I would have to do something like this, but i'm running out of options and hope. Right now, my fiancee and I are staying in her aunt's house and things have not been good.In fact, they're getting worse, to the point where it's affecting both of us physically and emotionally. Her family has been treating us unfairly and the stress from this has made her just want to give up on life. It's killing me to see her like this, because anyone that has met "my wife" knows that she is a kind and happy-spirited person.
We've been trying to look for work to save up and get out of Brownsville, but unfortunately there haven't been any openings around and sad to say, Brownsville being a border town, if you don't know Spanish here you're S.O.L. She's been taking at-home cake orders and would love to work in a bakery as well as banking, but is not making enough to save for anything. So, as a last hope attempt, i'm asking for help from friends, family and anyone out there that might know what it's like to be in this situation, especially with a spouse's family.
Any and every bit helps, so we can get out of this nightmare, start a new life. I apologize for the long-winded story but felt it needed to said.Thank you for at least listening to my story.To those who donate even a dollar, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
