Imagine this: You're 13 years old, full of life and energy. You love your family, friend's, and furry animal's. You're passionate about art and drawing makes you happy. Playing video games, watching Anime, gossiping with your friend's, picking on your brother and playing outside are just some of the things you look forward to. Your whole life ahead of you and you've got big dreams about your future.
Until one day you wake up, your head hurts-badly, you head downstairs to tell your mom, when the stairs just seem to move out from under you. You fall down 8 steps and land face first on the floor. You get up, laugh it off because it was embarrassing, and move on with your day. This continues to happen for several months, bad headaches and unstable balance. Your mom brings you to the ER, she's worried, really worried: once, twice, and after the third time, they decide to take a closer look, at your brain, and now you're the one who's starting to worry...
Now I want you to imagine that you're her mother. Single with 2 children, waitress, and a breast cancer survivor. Your eldest, Hailey, is 13 and your youngest, Jacob is now 11. Your children are your life, the reason for fighting the good fight, the 2 reasons you had to beat cancer, and because of them; you did just that! You're still having medical issues that require surgeries but no cancer, how many has it been, 17? (Too many to count if you ask me). Despite your medical issues, you still manage to drag yourself out of bed (most days), and tend to your childrens' needs and spend time with them. You do your best, helping other's as often as possible, and living up to expectations. It's exhausting but worth it.
Then one day you notice that you're daughter seems to be: off. She keeps stumbling and tripping over..air? She cries because her head hurts so much. This is totally unlike her, she's always been tough, crying only when she's angry but never when she's hurt.. You bring her to the doctor, they decide it's due to being a menstruating teenager, you go home. This goes on a few more times, the song and dance at the doctor's, until one day you get a call from school, Hailey has been throwing up and needs to go home.            You pick her up, she doesn't look too good, you get home, open the door for her to the house, and as she steps through the doorway, she collapses! This is your last straw, you are not leaving the hospital until they figure out what is wrong with your baby!

On July 17, 2017, Hailey was diagnosed with a brain tumor called: Medullablastoma. Your worst fear comes true, your baby has cancer. The world around you slows down and you feel like you're floating above your body, your brain is foggy and nothing makes sense anymore. You have entered the Twilight Zone, your own personal Hell, plaqued with worry, concern, anxiety, and depression for your baby, but you are strong enough to hold despair at bay.         You have to be, HopeforHailey is a strong medicine! She has completed her radiation and her next chemo session is Feb. 1st. She requires multiple blood transfusions because her platelets are so low that they don't even register at times. Hailey is currently at the hospital with her mother due to another issue that has her in immense pain. Again Sandy, Hailey's mother, waits and worries, while the good doctor's try to ease Hailey's pain and troubleshoot her symptoms to make her better. The thing about chemo is that you need to be at a certain level of health in order to take the treatment, so the treatment can bring you back down to a level just above death. That's the way chemo works, poisoning you to the brink of death to kill the cancer. It's torture.

Hello, my name is Danyl, and I'm starting this campaign to try and ease some of the financial burden this family has been going through. I've never known a more giving and deserving family then Hailey's. I'm hoping that good people like you can find it in your hearts to help this amazing girl: HopeforHailey!
Thank you, with all our hearts.
