(WMASS) has been a 100% volunteer organization and IRS recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. It was formed in 1976 out of a desperate need to establish an adoption program for the town. The primary goal of our WMASS volunteers is to promote spay/neuter programs, educate the public about animal welfare issues, maintain a healthy & happy population of the homeless and abandoned in our care. Love them until we can find them a perfect new home. We're very proud of our shelter, work and passion.
