Please help us save our youth!!!
We all know that there is a need to get and keep the youth off of the streets. We Are The Village a 501c3 nonprofit organization saw this need and have opened a youth center under the direction of Melissa Atterberry-Jones. The center is opened after school Monday -Friday and is free to all youth. The Village offers numerous activities including boxing, art, fitness, team building, cooking, mentor ship, tutoring, life skills, martial arts and more. Since October when the center opened Melissa has been funding the center herself with some donations and a few sponsorships. The center is almost at capacity and is ready to move into a bigger building. WE NEED YOUR HELP! We are moving into the old Monkey Joes building which gives us more space which helps us reach more children. This building will also bring in revenue to sustain The Village by incorporating a roller skating rink. The rink will employee youth which addresses another need and will also bring the community together. Melissa has stretched herself and her finances to the limit. We are now seeking community help. We all see the need we talk about the need now here’s your chance to be a part of the solution. If reading the vision isn’t enough and you would like to see it please call [phone redacted] to schedule a tour. This mission is going to bridge so many gaps and save so many children. The Village thanks you in advance for seeing the need and partnering with us to meet the need. Www.wearethevillage-ct.org
